The GREEN-STEM project, a groundbreaking initiative under the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, is offering scholarships to empower up to 92 young talents, both students and staff, to experience intra-Africa mobility in partner institutions.

This initiative is part of the GREEN-STEM mission to foster sustainable development and tackle climate change impacts through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

First Call for Women: Full Program Scholarships

The first call is now open exclusively to women for full programs at one of the GREEN-STEM partner universities.

Scholarships are available only if the host university (where you will study) is different from the home university (where you are currently studying or have studied).

Eligibility for First Call

This call is open to women with African nationality and residency in an African country, and who are registered, admitted, or have obtained a degree from either one of the GREEN-STEM African partners or another African university that is not a partner but is part of the AFRETEC network.

Women with specific needs or requiring assistance are welcome and will receive support during their mobility.

Second Call for Applications: Short-Term Scholarships

The second call will open in the second semester of 2024, offering short-term scholarships for credit-seeking and research exchange programs.

Eligibility for Second Call

This call is open to both men and women of African nationality and residency in an African country, currently registered at one of the GREEN-STEM African universities.

People with disabilities are welcome and will receive specific support during their mobility.

Staff Exchange Program

The GREEN-STEM project also offers staff exchange opportunities to foster academic and research collaboration.
